MSSC STRUGGLE REPORT (04-04-16/17)size>color>

Actually our activities nowadays seems a little shorten, because we try to organize a little better than before. So it means only few members are actively take a part in the struggles here in Seoul. But we try to do our best – every day!
Before y’day “Struggle and Rice” (투쟁과 밥color>) cooked a delicious supper for us and later they had a nice performance on our daily final rally. Thanx for the entertainment!! Also a lot of new supporters – like members of peace windcolor> - we were able to see! Also thanx! And we’d a small birthday party. Our Korean comrades made a cake and brought self-made strawberry wine – very delicious!
Yesterday some of our collective wanted to join the culture festival of striking disabled
peoplecolor>, held in front of Seyong Culture Center near Gwanghwamun. While some went to there by means of transportation, one comrade went there on foot. On the way he had to pass a rally of pro-impeachment people. Ugly stuff, but only few, let’s say 20 people joined. As the next he’d to find out that thousands of riot cops were hanging around Gwanghwamun. Just it was easy to find out the reason why: in front of Kyobo Building some thousands of impeachment opponents were gathering for a rally. But surprise: the large majority of the people there were not looking like the “internet generation”, not at all. You could see mainly a kind of “poor” (please don’t understand wrong, we’re also poor!), complete unorganized people, many of them in their middle ages, usually you never would see on a political demonstration or rally. You couldn’t see any self made poster, or something like that, usually you find on every rally here. So, how they came to the rally? Who and how they were organized??? There is a rumor that they are a kind of paid… But actually it is implausible, or…?
But anyway, just minutes later the “420 Culture Festival” in the direct neighborhood was beginning. The audience: around 150 people, mainly student solidarity groups, disabled persons, some members of left organizations – like Socialist Partycolor> and DLPcolor>
- and some unionists. And from the beginning: the atmosphere was sooo great, really!
Yeon Yeong-seokcolor>, Heaven, Earth and Humancolor> and many others more got a lot of applause! We’d to learn that our “mime” team has a strong fan club!! Wow, it’s incredible! The vice president of DLP, Kim Hae-kyeong (김해경) was also there and it is really nice to meet her, because she is like a very strong mother to us/with our struggle.
And beside the main festival Park Joon'scolor> friends and comrades made a solidarity concert and performance.
