LAST DAY’S STRUGGLE REPORT (서울 7.28)color>size>

Monday afternoon after arriving from Yeouido (there exactly since 4 weeks the reporter is participating the “One Person Rally”) in Myeong-dong, already four riot cops were hanging around. Two hours later, before the reporter went to ETU-MB office, almost ten officers gathered in front of our struggle area.
In the early evening, when he came back to Myeong-dong, he thought that it might be better to use the back entrance. Funny idea, but a gang of 20 cops thought that’s not a funny idea and blocked the entrance. On the main entrance, after an argument, it was more easy to enter the struggle area.
Until that time actually it was not really clear, why the cops, now about 150 were blocking all entrances, were there. Park Yoon said before it’s because of the anti troop dispatching ceremony in the Catholic Academy (CA), also belonging to the Myeong-dong Cathedral compound.
A while later the reporter went to the backyard of the CA. After three minutes 5 cops were running in to the cathedrals’s grounds, captured him (by the way, to enter the cathedral’s grounds by the cops it constitutes a violation of law!!!) and after a heavy argument he was able to go and enter the area again on main entrance. And everything happens just because of the t-shirt.

Later we were able to find out the reason of cop’s presence. In the afternoon the striking LG unionists got a visitor who coordinate the struggle. But even the heavy control of all people who wanted just to visit the cathedral, the cops were not able to prevent the visit of the activist. Congratulations, you’re idiots!!
In the night we’d had nice getting together with some discussions about the problems of the present workers struggle culture in S. Korea, especially the music/songs and the so called “mime” (revolutionary expression dances).
Tuesday one student joined the “One Person Rally” on Yeouido. There - just Saturday during the clashes near Gwanghwamun (herecolor> we already reported. On the Ohmy TV pictures you can see them on "work") we were able to meet them the last time – riot cop unit no 1001 “guarded” the area. And despite (or BECAUSE) they are the definite frontline combat cops – their behavior is like stupid children. For example they hit each other – of course the superiors the ordinary cops – with their shield, and very hard and bad… Again, just idiots!
In the evening we finished our 256th strike day with a powerful night rally on our struggle area.
